Google Launches Reader: "Google announced the beta of Google Reader at the Web 2.0 conference today.
If you like Google and you have never been over to Google Labs then you should check it out. They have lots of cool tools like Google Sets, Suggest, Video, and now Google Reader.
Google reader could be the best tool I have seen in a while. It takes RSS feeds and displays them in a easy to use format. What are RSS feeds you say? They are like an index to a news site. Many sites now offer an RSS feed, you can download it with a reader and get small clips of all the new content on the site, then decide if you want to read the rest. Basicly with Google Reader, once you learn to use it, you can go to one page and see all the new content on your favorite sites in one place. From there you can click on a story to read more. Try it when you get a chance.
The RSS feed (also called a site feed) for this blog is http://eatons.blogspot.com/atom.xml , add it to your Google reader and it will show up when there are updates.
