Well lets see, we are all well, a little sick but well. Between the four of us we have been sick for about 3 weeks. It just keeps rotating around the family. Chris has the bulk of it right now.
The kids playing at Emily's school.

Emily Lynn Eaton

Emily is really enjoying pre-school. She has learned so much in the past 5 weeks since school has started. She sings new songs, is talking more, has better manners and is turing into such a bright little girl. The school had some testing done on the children for developmental delays and they are concerned that Emily's speech may need a little help. I spoke to her teacher about it and she thinks it is just b/c Emily does not talk to strangers and would not really talk to the person doing the tests. If she doesn't know you she is not going to say much. That is her personality and I am not going to fault her for it. I have a meeting with them to talk about it and see what or if anything further needs to be done. If she needs a little help I am all for it but I tend to think since she is a little reserved she did not speak to them. She is a listener. Even though she may not talk to you much or sing along all the time she absorbs everything she hears and comes home and tells me all about it and sings all the songs. She has been labeled as a shy person which I don't think is fair to a childs self esteem. She will blossom in her own time. She is the best. I am still having a hard time with her not being home with me. It does not get easier. Growing up is too hard. I am going to get Emily into a dance class soon. Stay posted for more on how that goes.
Jacob Christopher Eaton.

Jacob is turning into all boy. He does not stop moving if he is awake. He loves to play with his cars and Sissy. He is in school now 2 days a week. He really enjoys it. He seems to be a little more active than the other kids his age. I think he could hold his own in the 2 yr old room. He is use to being around his sister and plays with older toys. Everyone tells me he looks like he is 2. Stop making my baby grow up so fast!!!! When I take him with me to pick Emily up at school he walks right in finds his Sissy, gives her a hug then goes on his merry way playing with the kids and toys. The teachers think it is so cute. They said he would give them less trouble than a few of the 3 year olds in the class. Hehe! Anyway, he is talking quite a bit lately. His version of talking anyway. He tells me what he wants and if he can't figure out how to say it he shows me. He is a big eater. He eats as much or more than Emily. He is saying tan-tu for thank you, nana for banana, la lu for love you, night night, bye, yeah, eat, more, pretty, momma, dada, sissy, sagan, feebee, and more of the basics. He is a little champ. I think he is gonna be an athlete. He is very lovable and happy. I couldn't ask for a better little boy. I have been trying to get his pictures done since he turned 1. He is now almost 16 mths and no pics. Every week he gets a new bruise or scratch on his head and sets it back. He is very prone to falling at this stage. He is pretty bruised up all the time. He jumps off the couch belly first and thinks its funny. Today he was in the play house in the backyard and instead of going out the front door he decided to climb out the side window and when he did he fell head first onto a metal wagon. He now has a nice big bruised, bloody bump on his head. So pics are out for this weel too!! We will get them eventually. He is such a good kid and I am really trying to remember where my baby went?

Chris and I are about to celebrate our 8th wedding anniversary on the 8th. He is wonderful. We are going to go to Hot Springs for a night and have a great dinner and visit some events going on there. It is Oktoberfest right now so there are many things going on this time of year. Chris and I have actually been together more than 10 years now and I can honestly say I would do it all over again. He has taken care of me through some of the hardest times in my life and when things seemed impossible. The good times are what I remember most. Chris and I have always kind of had a little marriage motto and it has worked to this point. We have always said, "why would you treat a complete stranger with more respect and courtesy than your own spouse?" Therefore, Treat each other as you would a stranger, with courtesy and respect.
Chris I love you and feel God has given me the greatest blessing by putting you in my life. Your a wonderful husband and father. I adore and admire you. You are strong yet soft and caring at the same time. You bring me so much joy and happiness. I only pray I can make you as happy as you deserve to be. I have loved the past 10 years and know our future is bright and ready to be conquered. I love you.

How funny; Robby and I celebrate our 6th wedding anniversary on the 11th of next month and we, too, are planning a celebration by spending the night in Hot Springs. :-)
