Soon to be a Mommy of 3!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, we are now expecting our 3rd child. We are so excited and a bit surprised. I was thinking about how Em and Jacob are so different. Em was dark hair dark eyes, Jacob was blond and blue eyed. How will this one look? What type of personality will this one have? Em and Jacob are on opposite ends of the scale, maybe this one will fit right in the middle somewhere. The kids are excited but I don't think they realize how long of a what they have. The baby will be due Fenruary 13th, 2009. I winter baby! All new clothes are going to be necessary since I had spring and summer babies prior. I am 5 weeks along and ecstatic!

Our New Car

Yes, we downsized. I love driving a smaller car. We bought a 2008 Honda Fit Sport. I would almost swear it has as much room as out Saturn did. I love it.

Jacob's 2nd Birthday Party

We had a small party at the house for Jacob with family and a couple friends. I think this is the way birthdays should get back to. Not where it is going to be or how much it is going to cost. It was a nice day. Jacob had fun and thats all that counts. He loved his cake Mommy made for him and all the Mickey Mouse stuff. Thanks to everyone who made his day special.

Kailey's 5th Birthday Party

As many of you know I have taken to making cakes. It is a lot of fun to me. Anyway, Kailey had a Hannah Montana party and I volunteered to make the cake, I will admit it did not come out like I had imagined. This was the first shaped cake I have done besides Jacobs police car cake for his first birthday. Anyway, the kids had a blast and I enjoyed helping out. They are wonderful people and Kailey is a great kid.

First sleep in Big Boy Bed

Well, its official. My baby is not a baby anymore. He is a full grown little boy with his own mind and attitude. I love him so....and miss my baby at the same time, bittersweet. His Great-Granny made him this cars blanket for Christmas and he loves it. The bear is his "night night bear." This was given to him at birth by Uncle Bubba and Aunt Windy. He plays it every night to sleep. This reminds me that he still needs that security and is still at least a little needy of me. I love him so..........

Texas Granny and Papa's visit

They came to visit and see Em's recital. It was a nice time. The kids adore them and want to spend every waking moment with them. We can't wait for our next visit in August.
