More Easter 08

The eggs the kids made and some more pics from a different camera.

Easter Sunday 2008

The kids woke up to their baskets and hunted the eggs the bunny hid for them. They had a good time. I cooked an Easter dinner and Mom and Hershall came over to eat about 1. It was a nice quiet family day. The kids are all hyped up on sugar of course.

Trinity's 7th birthday Party

PAMPER ME PARTY

The girls had so much fun. They got their nails and toes done along with face mask to complete the look. Emily's feet could barely touch the water b/c she is so short legged. Too cute! They also played limbo, did a craft and ate jello with no hand allowed. It was a fun day for them.. Happy Birthday Trinity!!! We love you.

Easer hunt at the Courthouse Saturday '08

Mom, Amy and I took the kids to the egg hunt downtown. They all played on the blow-ups for a while and had scheduled times for their egg hunts. There were so many kids, the hunts were literally over in about 10 seconds. I think Emily got about 4 eggs each time since I let her hunt again with the older kids. It was crazy but they had fun. I was kind of upset Jacob couldn't come b/c he had started running a fever the night before and that morning it was 102.3 He is getting better now but I think he has another ear infection due to his crying all night long....aaaahhhhhh!!!!!!!

Emily's Easter party at school

She was so proud of her treat bags for her friends. We also took cookies.
They had an egg hunt after nap and Jacob came along b/c he loves her school and the kids like to play with him. Everytime we walk in the door he goes straight to Emily and gives her a big hug. Its so nice. They had a good time.

St. Patricks Day 08

Emily took these cute little treat bags to school and we also took green chocolate donuts. The kids loved it. I wound up picking her up early b/c she started weezzing really bad and had fever. I took her to the doctor and that began the steroids and antibiotics and breathing machines. She is better now but we continue the breathing treatments for her RAD(respiratory airway disease).

Snow Days 2008

We had two snow days in one week this year. Emily loves the snow. Doesn't care how cold or wet she gets. Jacob does not like it. He will go outside but doesn't like to walk in it.

The kids having fun

Emily loves to play her tea parties. They both like to pretend to have sleep overs in the living room. Jacob likes to be the 2nd baby in the double stroller. Gotta love them!

Emily's trip to the Eye Doctor

Well, we went back after 4 months of drops and he was not to thrilled with the progress. He strengthened her glasses and we are doing 4 more months of drops. If no improvement than it looks like surgery might be necessary. I do not want to put her through that if it is not absolutely necessary. It could take up to 5 surgeries to get it right. I pray this does not happen.

Baking and Hunting......wore them out!

I am pleasantly surprised that the kids like to help me in the kitchen. Especially Emily. If I am cooking or baking, she is helping. Here is a cake we did for my Wilton decorating class.
Chris went hunting for geese this year a was able to get a few. Their time was cut short due to sick kids.
They love to lounge around with Daddy.

Valentines 2008

Valentines Day fell on a Thursday this year which meant busy day. Emily had a fun party at her pre-school and her teacher bought them all frog balloons which they loved. Jacob loves to go to Emily's school to party. Emily had dance class that evening and afterward we took the kids to Larrys Pizza which is very kid friendly and has an arcade room. Jacob loves to play ski-ball. It was a nice family day.

Trip to see Bubba, Windy and Titan

We always have a good time when we go to Branson. Titan is so cute and playful. We went to a big pizza/arcade place which the kids loved.
