Trip to Texas Oct 07

We finally made it back to Texas for a visit. It was long over due. We all had a good time. The kids fell in love with Granny and Papa all over again. We decided not to go to the state fair in Dallas so we opted for the zoo instead. The kids had a great time and so did the big kids. We did a little shopping and visiting while we were there and of course made Chris' trips to Jack-in-the-box and Whataburger since he can't get his fix at home. We will head back up that way in December for the all important Christmas exchange. Can't wait.

Trip to the Zoo!

The kids had a blast. The day was beautiful and the weather was great. They both passed out on the way home. We went with Jerald, Amy and Trinity. Daddy had to work this weekend so he was missed. We hope to make it to the Memphis zoo soon.

8th Anniversary

We took another trip to Hot Springs. We stayed in the Arlington Hotel. It was nice but I don't know if we would do it again. Every time we go to Hot Springs we always find something new to do. We did the Gallery walk Friday evening, then headed out to dinner at Chef Pauls. O-my, was it good. First class all the way. We were feeling pretty good after leaving there with a full belly and having gone through a bottle of wine. By that time it was late for us old people so we spent the rest of the night in bed. Saturday, we went walking to the hot springs. The are HOT. You can not put your hand in all the way or you'll get burnt. After that we went to the Mountain Towers that overlook the city. That was fun but, really one of those things you'll only do once. Then we headed over to the Arts and Crafts Festival they have celebrating Oktoberfest. It got a bit too hot after a bit so then we headed home to get the kids who were with my Mom for the night. They were happy to see us and ready to head home.

Sick Sick Sick

Our family can't seem to stay well. It has literally been a month since all this sickness started. Poor Emily has had the most. Its one thing after another. Chris is really stopped up and sick right now but everyone was ok and seeming to get better. Well,..............
Emily started throwing up yesterday about 7. She threw up all night and couldn't even hold down water. It was bad. I am not feeling well this morning but who knows if it is just from the lack of,well no sleep last night. We go the doctor at 11. I hope she gives her some antibiotics to just flush everything out. I think thats what we all need.
I am ready to be back to normal and routine. I think we take it for granted when we are all well and healthy. It really takes a toll on you mentally and physically.
When will it all end???????????
