Emily's 2nd Birthday

We had a big party here at the house. It was a housefull. The kids had fun playing in the backyard and playing games. Emily says thank you for all of the gifts she received, she really likes them.

I can't beleive she is already 2. She is growing too fast and it just hit me the other day how fast. She does pretty much everything for herself now except a few things and that is hard to take hold of. I am so use to her needing me, which she still does, I just can't wrap my head around her getting big so fast, it almost feels like she already has one foot out the door.

Easter 2006

We went to the church egg hunt on Saturday and you had such a good time. You got right in there and got you some eggs and you enjoyed the music and stories that that Pastor Mark performed. We went to church service Sunday, when I went to pick you up from your class I asked you if you had fun and you let out this huge "YEAH!!!!" It was so cute. Love you precious girl.

Texas Friends

We got to see Matt, Melissa, Kennedy and Evan while we were visiting. You all got along really well. They came to your birthday party too. You like to follow Kennedy around and do what she was doing.

Emily's Texas Birthday

While we were in Texas we had a little birthday party for Emily. Aunt Jenny got her a really cute baby einstein cake and her and Mike cooked had the family and some old friends over. She had a blast. We sure did appreciate it.

Baby Shower

We went to Texas for a visit and Chris' mom and sister threw us a nice shower. We really appreciate everything that we received. It was very thoughtful. I know they spent a lot of time planning for it. We got to see the new babies in the family for the first time, well 2 of them anyway. I can't wait to see mine!

Just an Update

Emily has gone through a growth spurt this last week. She has been eating like a pig. She is getting taller and either I am getting weaker or she is heavier. I think it is a little of both. I have 9 weeks to go till the scheduled date. I am starting to get really tired again. I hate that my energy is going away since Emily is so energetic. Emily likes to rub my belly and say "baby Jacu." She is learning new words and trying to have conversations with you but its hard to make out what she is saying. We got Emily a backyard of toys so she will be entertained this summer. She loves the swing the most. We just have to get her a swimming pool since she is such a water baby. Hopefully she will get a lot of swimming practice this summer. Nemo is her thing right now. She watches the movie at least once a day. We decided to have a nemo birthday party for her. She will love it. We are excited for the baby to get here but my anxieties are kicking in. Becoming a mother of 2 is a little overwhelming to me sometimes but I know I will get through it. We got a new truck since we needed more room in the car. A Saturn Vue. I love it, its perfect. Not too big or small. We are going to Texas at the end of the week and we can't wait for the little vacation.
