Texas Christmas 05

I know it is a littel late but we just found the disk that had all the pictures on it so I thought I would post them anyway.

We went to Texas for your 2nd Christmas a week early due to schedules. You had a blast. You love going to visit Granny and Papa. I think it is fun for you because there is so much room for you to run and play. It is so great that you remember things about Granni and Papa already even though you usually only see them about every 3-4 months. (which is too long by the way) hehe!
When you see pictures even today you remember things about the time we were there like all the neat little toys Granni has for you. We were sitting here going through the pictures tonight and you remember these little pull toys she has and went in your room looking for the duck and got upset because you couldn't find it. You went and took out the baby doll Granni got for you when you saw it on the picture. When a new picture would pop up you would name the people in the picture which just blows me away but, ya know, I am Mom and a little too proud sometimes. We can't wait to see you agan in April.

Funny Moment

I wish I would of had my camera but I thought I would blog it anyway. This morning while momma was checking her email you decided to go into the kitchen and get into the dogs dish again... When I walked into the kitchen you had dumped all the food and water on the floor and you were on your belly trying to slurp up the water off of the floor. You looked up at me with the funniest grin and it was all I could do not to laugh. Of course you were soaked from head to toe with water and smelled like wet dog food but it was too funny.

Mom and Hershell are now Married

We went over to the house last night and it was a short little ceremony with just the kids and grandchildren there. We all went to dinner afterward and had a good time. I ate way too much. Mom is just glad they are married now. She did not want to stress over a big wedding. We still plan to throw a reception for them sometime soon. I think they both enjoyed themsleves and are truely happy. We love them both and may they be blessed with a wonderful marriage.........pictures to come!

Valentines Day!!

This post is a little late but, I finally got to it....

Daddy had to work on Valentines Day so it was just you and me most of the day until Daddy woke up to go to work. Daddy gave me some really yummy Godiva chocolates that I love and I wouldn't share with you simply because you had your own.... anyway, we watched Shelby so her Mommy and Daddy could go out and have a nice evening. You girls had such a time you never stopped the whole evening.

22 Months

The time between 18 mths and now seems so long ago. I want to reflect back as much as I can to preserve all of our memories together.

You have quite a personality and love to discover new things. You go back and forth being a mommy or daddy's girl. It amazes me that you know your limits with each one of us. Rough housing with Daddy on the floor is so exciting to you. If you see Daddy spread that big "banket" on the floor you know that it is "yee-ha" time. I love to see you play together, I don't think your smile gets any brighter than when you are playing with Daddy.

You have discovered that people have feelings and if you think you have upset someone you get the biggest lower lip ever. It is too cute. You are learning your manners very well. "Tan tu" is for thank you and "peees" is for please. You are learning to tell us when you are done with things and what you want to eat and what movies you want to watch instead of whining for them. When you are done eating you say "all don" and hold your hands out to get them cleaned. You love corn, grapes, strawberries, froot loops, pizza, and noodles. If I want you to eat well I know to give you pizza, you eat so much I wonder where you put it all.

You still love to take baths and float in the water. You are washing yourself now that you know most of your body parts. I think it is cute when you wash your big toe. You love to brush your teeth all by yourself. It has become a habit for you to wake up and go to the bathroom and go "aaahhhhh" which means you want to brush your teeth.

You have been spending quite a bit of time with your cousin Shelby. Sometimes you play nice and other times there is some pushing involved but, you usually work it out on your own. I think you enjoy having her around more than not. You still love your cousin Trinity, there is something about older kids that you take to. If I mention her name you are ready to go see your "Tity." You are doing well at church and will soon be moving to the 2 year old room. You seem to play nice with the other children.

You do pretty well in public and restaurants as long as you are entertained. You like telling everyone "By and Tan tu."
You are starting to understand the whole baby situation but I don't think you realize one is coming your way though but, I know you will be great.

SNOW!! 2/06

You had such a good time playing in the snow, your little hands were frozen but you wanted to stay out longer. You kept kicking the bushes out front so the snow would fly off and hit you in the face. It was funny. You were rolling your big ball around in the backyard making tracks. If the snow was a little more dry we could of made a snowman but I did not feel liek getting soaked. This will probably be it for snow this year. It has been snowing for about 3 hours now and still going. I wonder how much we will actually get......

Its a Boy!

Your going to have a little brother....

We found out today we are adding another little man to our family. We are so excited. Daddy was so happy he asked Mommy if she was just kidding with him.... it was a funny moment.
Now that we know, you and Mommy can start getting things ready for him and buying sweet little outfits.....
I told you Mommy's baby is a little boy but you did not seem to understand since we just started working on the boy/girl thing. When I said you are going to be a big sister you tried to say it but we need to keep working on that. Anyway, we are a blessed family and can't wait for what is to come.

Sneaky girl!!

Daddy got Mommy a treadmill and turned the big box into a play house for you. Well we figured out you like to take things and go hide in the house with them. You have been taking dog food and hiding in there to eat it. yuck!! Daddy caught you this day. You took a wine glass that was left on the table and decided to hide with it. You think you are so sneaky it is cute.

The Big Girl Bed...

After the New Year we decided to put up your big bed. You were so excited you had to help Daddy with it. You couldn't wait until it was done so you could jump on it. You love your bed comforter because it has flowers and butterflies on it. We have your aunt Jenny and uncle Mike to thank for that. Every time you wake up you come out of your room saying"my night night" over and over again. When someone would come over you would take them into your room to show them your bed. It was so cute. I am glad we had a pretty easy transition into your new bed.
