Happy Halloween!!!

We had a good day. Emily trick-or-treated 3 times. She went to school and they had a costume party and went around the church trick-or-treating, then I took her to Dillards for their thing so she could go with her Granni and then we came home and went with Trinity and Kailey.
So we have way to much candy and greedy little hands to eat it. It is helping with the potty training though. Emily is in panties all the time now and only occasionally has an accident. We are so proud.

My Family

I couldn't ask for anything better.
I Love you. Posted by Picasa

Out at the Farm....

We spent a weekend on the farm. Emily had so much fun seeing the deer and riding on the golf cart with Granni. We were all a little under the weather but still had a good time. Emily kept saying we needed to cook and eat the deer. It was funny.

Jacob at 4 Moths

Jacob is getting big so fast. He was 16lb and 25in at his 4 month check up. He is the happiest baby ever. He only crys when he is hungry. He is sleeping from about 7:30 to 6-7 in the morning. He loves watching Emily play. He smiles all the time and loves for anyone to hold him. He is much more social than Emily was at this age. He doesn't care who has him. He is a big eater, as long as his tummy is full he is happy. His is turning over both ways and spinning himself to see where you are. He is already trying to scoot with his knees.
As they say, "he is growing up too fast."

Emily at 2 1/2 years

Emily is doing really well. She is really liking her school and learning new things. Potty training is finally going well. Lets hope she keeps it up. She is a good spirited little girl. She is getting into Cinderella now. She treats her little brother pretty good and is loving that he is getting bigger so fast. She can count to ten and knows her ABC's. She loves to dance and sing.

Precious Little Ones...........

Here are some recent pics of my little ones

Emily started Pre-school last week. She is erally enjoying it. She goes on Tuesdays and Thursdays. She is growing up into a sweet little girl and it almost seems too fast.

Jacob is thriving. He is over 11 lbs already. He will be 3 months on the 15. Again, growing too fast. He is a happy baby. He is sleeping through the night. He goes down about 7 and sleeps till around 6. He eats and then goes back to sleep until about 8 or so. We are already feeding him cereal and he has had apples and bannanas. He loves to eat.

We are so blessed to have our family and would not trade it for the world. I love watching them grow up and thrive like the little people they are.

We took Jacob to the doctor this past Monday for a checkup
Weight 6lb 15oz
Length 20 1/4in
He is doing well and is a really good baby. He sleeps usually 4 hrs at a time before he wants to be fed. For the first few days home he ate like a mad man, trying to make up for the time he spent in the NICU with no food in his little tummy. I think his lowest weight was 6lb 3oz. He seems to be thriving now, and we can't wait to see what little man he turns into.

Emily is doing really well with him minus a few bad moments. Sometimes I have to remind myself she is only 2 afterall. As long as we make some time for her each day she is good. The first few days home were a real challenge especially since I could barely put the baby down since he wanted to eat all the time Emily is hitting a few milestones lately also. She is taking more interest in the whole potty training world, which I am thankful for. She is talking all the time even though you can only understand about half of it. She will repeat the whole alphabet back to you and is starting to sing the alphabet song. She loves to sing head shoulders knees and toes. It is so cute. She can count from 1-5 and is learning her colors and shapes fairly well. We are so proud. We are going to put her into a mothers day out program at the church to get her a little more socialized with other children. With that and church on Sundays, I think it will make a big difference even though she seems to be getting out of that shy stage all on her own.

I want to thank everyone for their support and prayers while Jacob was in the hospital, they meant a lot to us.

Jacob comes home

We brought Jacob home yesterday, followed by a trip back to the doctor and then back home one more time. It's been a long week. We are glad to have him home finally so we can get back to the buisness of being a family.

Emily has been a handfull. She needs more than constant attention and she has a quick temper. Hopefully this will get better soon.

Jacob's Birth, Day 6

Jacob is doing well, he is still in ICU. He is starting to eat a small amount at a time and his breathing is getting better. We expect it should not be too long before he can come home. We are making alot of trips back and forth to the hospital.

I've added a link to a web photo album to the left side of the page.

Jacob C. Eaton

Jacob Christopher Eaton is 7lbs. 3oz. 19 inches. He was born at 8:06 a.m.

Mom is doing well, much better than her last delivery. This evening she was able to get out of bed to take a wheelchair ride.

Jacob is still in ICU but he is doing well. His breathing is faster than normal because he aspirated on some fluid during the surgery. He is expected to transition within the next 12 to 24 hours at which time he will be returned to our room.

We thank you for your support and especially for your prayers. Posted by Picasa
